NetCleanse secures E-mail Marketing at rabbit
Also the eMarketing specialist “rabbit eMarketing” relies on the services of NetCleanse to protect the company-wide network perfectly and without administrative effort against SPAM and viruses.
Young, dynamic, successful
The company has specialized itself during the past years on the deployment of the medium e-mail as a marketing instrument and offers companies of every size an comprehensive service offer in the e-mail marketing area. The portfolio of rabbit eMarketing includes everything that makes professional e-mail marketing successful and practicable – from the address generation over designing an e-mail newsletter, the dispatch and the whole project management up to the analysis of the refusals.
Although rabbit eMarketing is only active on the market for a short time it can refer to a remarkable success story and to an impressive customer base. By now there are 7 regular employees and 8 freelancers successfully working for companies like Electrolux, the Deutsche Bahn Abovertrieb, Schlecker Homeshopping, Zapf Creation, DocMorris, Arcor, Telekom Training or the hotel Adlon Kempinski.
Security in the name of the customers
Of course the perfect protection against SPAM and viruses plays an immense role especially in companies like rabbit eMarketing. On the one hand the own network and thus above all the individual-related data which is given to rabbit eMarketing by its customers need to be secured best possible from threats from the internet – the company attaches extremely great importance to that. On the other hand the outgoing data traffic should be examined completely and therefore get secured.
Until now rabbit eMarketing relied on several virus scanners on several computers. Due to the complex maintenance and the non-optimal security Nikolaus von Graeve, Chief Executive Officer of rabbit eMarketing, looked for an alternative in the middle of last year. This should achieve two points: On the one hand the new solution should offer the highest security possible. On the other hand the maintenance effort should be as low as possible.
Within the scope of the research von Graeve among others got aware of NetCleanse. After a short testing phase of live operating it quickly became clear that rabbit eMarketing would rely on NetCleanse.'Cause the solution passed all requirements with flying colours. So NetCleanse reliably scans both all incoming and all outgoing traffic at gateway level, hold off viruses from the internal network, is ready for use in only a few steps and it updates itself completely automatic.
Minimal effort, maximal benefit
Already since the beginning of the year rabbit eMarketing relies on the services of NetCleanse. The solution itself currently filters the whole SMTP traffic (inbound and outbound) before this is forwarded to or respectively sent over the used Microsoft Exchange server (small business). There was no need for special adjustments to made. Only an additional, current computer for 250 Euro has been bought on which NetCleanse is now run between the internet and the company network and provides a clean data exchange.
According to CEO von Graeve the small investment for NetCleanse was more than profitable. Because “NetCleanse works very inconspicuously” says von Graeve. “Since the installation of the system we only notice the NetCleanse-Unit when we receive the daily SPAM report or an advice of a successful detected virus e-mail.”
